track link click

description

Your idea to list DNN pages is good, but I think there should be an option for the user decide. The provider there is no way to track clicks on links.

(see the printscreen. NOTE: I translated direct in LinkManager.ascx of RadEditor, Pagina = Page, Rastrear Cliques = Track Clicks)

We have thought about this one and we came to one question: If the editor supported LinkClick.aspx, where do you actually track the link clicks? There is no UI for tracking anyway?

There is a table called urltracking that holds a counter for each individual link on any text page that is marked for tracking.
For quickie info on sites that just want some generic tracking we just create a simple REPORT
select * FROM urltracking

I did make a custom module for a client that wanted better info
  • mind you its a bit broken
  • the user tracking part we never really got to the bottom of
