Created Issue: DMXManager caches old version of files [1348]

When you make some changes in DMX (delete files, create new ones) DMXManager will display old state of DMX repository (deleted files exist, new ones don't). Even if you restart browser and try it again, you will get same result.
You have to actually restart web application to reset this unwanted cache...

I use DMX 06.00.02 on DNN Community Edition 6.1.5 with Bring2Mind.DMXBrowserContentProvider 01.01.00.

I am trying to install dnnWerk.RadEditorProvider.01.01.04.Install but get the following error:

When DNN 5 site running under Medium Trust environment is upgraded to DNN 6.0.2, the RadEditor Config helper module generates an error:

Created Issue: Images/Document Manager not upholding "secure - File System" folders [1168]

I'm not exactly sure if this is a DotNetNuke issue or a RadEditor issue, but I thought I would mention the problem here.

When creating a new "secure - File System" folder through the DotNetNuke FileManager, any files I place within that folder are accessible via the RadEditor. This is to be expected, but the RadEditor does not indicate that the folder or its contents are secure. Additionally, when using the RadEditor to link to a file that is in the secure folder, the link will does not appear to as the contents will never be served to the user.

I believe this used to be handled with the LinkClick functionality in the past.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Like others, I'm not encountering a specific exception, but I'm also not getting any localized values for the StyleBuilder labels (e.g. most of the dialog is blank).

I am unable to get the Page drop down to appear within the Hyperlink Manager.
I've confirmed that I have the most recent version of the dnnwerk Rad Editor provider.

Is there a way I can get the page drop down to appear within the Hyperlink Manager instead of forcing the user to use the "Link to Portal Page" drop down?

After moving sites for a jumpy client, we cannot open the MultiMedia dialog box.

We see a client-side error with no server event, Error: Web.config registration missing! The Telerik dialogs require a HttpHandler registration in the web.config file.

Are we missing some information? We noticed a post on dnnForums stating that this RadEditorProvider is included in DNN 5.6.1.

1) Is this true? (We did install REP1.1.4 after 5.6.1 was installed. Bad?)

2) The error above has a list of four solutions here:

None of these worked.

3) Could you provide the web.config patches needed to make REP 1.1.4 work under 5.6.1?

My colleague eventually discovered after two weeks that the hosting provider was using a URL filter that prevented reading files with two dots in the name. Make sure you check the http logs for the notice from the filter that it denied reading a file. Difficult because hosting provider kept logs to themselves.

The editor does not switch static localization strings when the language is changed by clicking the flag on language selector. The problematic place is on the line number 793 in file EditorProvider.vb:

Dim path As String = HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath(_localeFile.ToLower.Replace(".resx", Locale & ".resx"))

Please remove leading dot from the first string parameter:

Dim path As String = HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath(_localeFile.ToLower.Replace("resx", Locale & ".resx"))

This correction allows the intended functionality of function IsLocaleAvailable(). Thanks.

I change an compile functions in EditorProvider.vb to work with Oliver Hine Advanced IconBar static localization or other Standard Control Panels, becouse "JanDr" solution don't work for me.
I use en-US and sl-SI locales.

Changes are in:
-RadEditor_Load
-IsLocaleAvailable

Can somebody write instruction how to build RadEditorProvider
i don't know where to find referenced : Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Core.dll

or send me builded version with this change.

I don't get the corrupt issue, but I do notice that the in a table when you go to cell properties, then click the style builder button, 99% of the labels are blank, even when I change localization option to de-DE

Installed on dnn 5.6.1 I observe the same issue. Strange you are not able to reproduce. I tested on clean site install.

Hey guys, a suggestion - can you add the allow scripts property to the default ConfigFile.xml.Original.xml file - for now i've just added it to the bottom of the
<property name="Developer Settings" IsSeparator="true" /> section - and it works perfectly for allowing script to not be stripped out of html pages.

It's not possible to install the RadEditor Config file on e.g. GoDaddy (shared hosting account) because of the trust level "Medium".

The error is: Not enough permissions. Inherit your page class from RadAjaxPage if you are running under Medium trust level

I added manually RadEditor to the web.config, and the editor is then working -
BUT: it's still not possible to configure the editor if needed!

I still seem to have this issue and cannot figure it out:
- DNN 5.6
- Default Telerik Editor shows style builder language strings
- DNNWerk provider does not show StyleBuilder strings.
- en-US is the only language enabled in the portal.

Your idea to list DNN pages is good, but I think there should be an option for the user decide. The provider there is no way to track clicks on links.

(see the printscreen. NOTE: I translated direct in LinkManager.ascx of RadEditor, Pagina = Page, Rastrear Cliques = Track Clicks)

There is a table called urltracking that holds a counter for each individual link on any text page that is marked for tracking.
For quickie info on sites that just want some generic tracking we just create a simple REPORT
select * FROM urltracking

I did make a custom module for a client that wanted better info
- mind you its a bit broken
- the user tracking part we never really got to the bottom of
